Prayers for my friend

Recently, two of my friends and I have enjoyed the highs and lows of pregnancy together. With our due dates spaced roughly a month apart (August, September, and October due dates), we've enjoyed comparing milestones and growing bellies. Well, one of those friends now needs prayers.

With the friend due in October, it seemed from the beginning that something was wrong with the pregnancy. She couldn't keep anything down (even water). As that calmed down, she developed kidney stones. Finally, late on Thursday, she was admitted to the hospital with preeclampsia. On Friday, the doctors discovered the placenta hadn't attached correctly and was dying. Her baby would be dead by Sunday. So at 24 weeks gestation, they decided to deliver the baby by emergency c-section. Little Lidda Jo is 12 ounces and roughly the size of a soda can. So far she's holding her own, but every hour is a struggle for survival. Please pray for her and her mommy and daddy!
