I waited 4 weeks. Once the C-section healed up, I was all over it...

Oh yeah, and do use a birth control method...my friend got pregnant again 6 weeks after her son was born...

Be careful tho'.... just because you are nursing, that's not 100% protection from getting preggers again because you are extremely fertile right now..... Trust me, I have a friend who that actually happened to, unless you want another right away...... it has been known to happen!!! Like LL said!!!

What!!?? Ya'll are crazy! My youngest is 18 months old and I still don't want to "do it!" I say if the urge is there and you're careful then hop to it, skippy. It might relieve some stress and help you sleep, but like tg says. . . be careful unless you want another one soon!

Trust me on that one too. No regrets, but unexpected I was also rearin' to go, but a lot of that was the emotional bond I felt after having our child. That can make for some pretty beautiful and powerful sex....but YOU CAN, AND ARE LIKELY TO GET PREGNANT. You are very fertile in this time, even more so than normal because your sexual self is shooting hormones out to your fingertips. Use protection, go slow, and love your man. It's a nice thing.
