Kady-could you consider....
Adding another topic heading. Adult children.
I have noticed in the last couple of days that there are quite a few of us moms on here that are long past the diapering stage. We are the empty nester mom's and we have questions and rant worthy and brag worthy things to talk about regarding our kids as well. There really isn't a forum heading for this.
Thanks for thinking about it.

I agree with MammaLackey
Adult Children have their own issues with parents and vice versa-
FWIW

Great idea, mamalackey! My own kids are still teenagers, but DS is 18 so he's right on the brink of adulthood--well, physically and chronologically anyway!
An Adult Children heading would be a good addition to the site.

Hi guys,
This is a great idea, and I can do it...but I was wondering: does the "Empty Nesters" category under "Relationships" fit the bill, by any chance?
If not, I can add another category. I just want to be as efficient as possible and not make the forums too unwieldy. Perhaps we change the name from "Empty Nesters" to "Adult Children?"
Whaddaya think?

When I think empty nesters with regard to relationships I think Hubby and me not my kids.

And some of us have kids that are adults, middle schoolers and preschoolers all at the same time.
Wait, not the same kid--even though those adult kids some times act like preschoolers and the preschoolers think they should be treated like adults!

OK, done!
Look in the "Relationships" area. It's the first forum topic.
Thanks, all.

Lila, how old are your kids? I'm sure you mentioned this in your intro, but I'm not much of an archive diver.
