Has anyone stayed at the kc Ronald McDonald house??? We will be staying there. Maybe for up to three weeks. Just wondering what to expect. Thanks

I don't know about the one in KC. We have friends here in Iowa that have been to the one up at the Mayo Clinic on several occasions. They have been so cared for and pampered. They were treated to massages and hair cuts even. They were also very well fed. :)

Sorry you have to be there but how wonderful that such a place exists.

Massages and hair cuts oh my. I was just looking at my hair this morning and thought I haven't cut my hair( besides trimming my bangs myself) since August!!!!! That would be nice.

Oh and...... Good to know there is one at mayo also. We will be headed there in may if the treatment here doesn't work. Praying that it works.

I told my daughter about the haircuts and she hopes they do have them. She hasn't had her hair cut since August and it is LONG She isn't able to go anywhere and she has told me no to cutting it :-0

Thank you. The drs have high hopes she will be able to regain her functioning (walking, sitting up etc) . I sure hope so!!!!!!
