What's for dinner on this cold night?

What's for dinner on this cold night?

Postby kenz&kobsmom on Sun Dec 14, 2008 12:59 pm

I'm fixing a big pot of Ham & Beans!! Sounds good to me since it is so cold! I'll have to fix some corn bread or something to go with it!
So what is everyone else fixing??

I might do some of Nascargirl's loaded baked potato soup. That's some great stuff.

I love Daffodils!!!This was taken at the Overland Park Arboretum last year. I will spare you the details of the bizarre position I had to get into in order to get this photo.

I dunno, got some thawed pork chops in the fridge, maybe BBQ them, (in the oven of course) or ''God forbid" floured and fried w/mashed potatoes. (Everyones fav).
I'm so far behind I think I'm first.

We had our kids Christmas service today and had family for that so I made a big ol' brunch for everyone when we got home: biscuits and gravy, homemade waffles, omelets, bacon, lil smokies,fruit... YUM!!! But I'm so done cooking ( and eating) for the day-- they can have fruit loops for all I care.

Having said that--- nascargirls potato soup rocks my world.

Spaghetti and garlic bread. I was going to make beef stew, but I am holding off until tomorrow night for that.
