I thought this ad was terrible. I guess there are no limits Nike will go to sell product. I also guess a desperate man will do desperate things to keep his sponsors. I felt like this was some horrible punishment for Tiger (not like he doesn't deserve it) from Nike. "Ok Tiger - we stood by you, how get over here so we can film a commercial"

I finally saw it last night on The Colbert Report. Very funny. Well... their alternate voiceover versions' were.

I agree with you, katebeem.
Nike still has Tiger on a big bucks contract so they're not going to keep him hidden away. This commercial was about the best they could do in light of his personal life situation.
Disturbing? Yeah. Unusual? Yuhp. Provocative? Mm-hmm.
But so were those United Colors of Benetton ads of the 90's. Anyone seen one of them lately?
