Ceramics, anyone?

Ceramics, anyone?

Postby battlefieldmomma on Sun Jun 30, 2013 11:01 am

While we were at Taste of Local yesterday, we wandered down to the Belger Arts Center, a cool art exhibition hall/art gallery that I hadn't been to since they hosted a Folk Art show 5 years ago.
Belger has teamed up with Red Star Studios & is showing a nice exhibit of teapots & other ceramics (a lot is for sale too). Belger also is showing another exhibit at their crane yard (the building is very cool).
Also, Red Star, has summer ceramics classes for kids & a workshop series for adults. It is really worth checking out if you are interested in ceramics.

The Belgers are featured in today's House & Home section of the KC Star

I've been there for a pottery show and saw a couple classes going on. Looked like fun.
