Dillard's Watch Trade-In Event

Dillard's Watch Trade-In Event

Postby thelommer on Thu Apr 04, 2013 9:07 am

April 3rd - 7th

Dillard's is also having a Watch Trade-In Event... You bring in any clean, used watch and you'll receive a discount on the purchase of a new watch! Dillard's is then donating all used watches to a local charity!!

The purse trade in was kind of neat, but the watch one . . . I think I will pass my watches are nicer than the ones that they sell at Dillard's, to bad I never wear them!

I would think watches would not be big sellers anymore. Especially for women. I can still see men buying them. Cell phones took away a lot of the watch buying I'm sure.

I've heard that watches are making a comeback among younger people -- not for their utility (they all have cell phones to keep track of the time) -- but as a nostalgic fashion statement.

Lol. I remember having Swatch Watches when I was a teen. We wore a lot of them at once. Not just one. Lol

I remember Swatch Watches as well!! I still wear a watch daily now as my phone is in my purse most of the time and I feel naked if I'm not wearing a watch.....
