What are your plans for the weekend? Whatever they are, be safe and have a blast!!!!

Hubby was just admited to the hospital yesterday, so i'm doing the 4th AND our youngest's birthday party solo this weekend. *flexes mom muscles*. the hospitalization is a *good thing*, just ill timed. C'est la vie.

We'll just have to blow things up for an extra person.
If we weren't all crazy we would go insane.

Good luck to your hubby and have a safe weekend...you don't want to wind up in the bed next to him!
You just can't be sad around Gerbera daisies!!

Hope you hubby is on the mend soon.

My baby girl (23 on the 5th) & her boyfriend are traveling from IL to stay with us for the weekend. I love when she can come to visit. We are taking them to the City Market & Crowne Center tomorrow. Not sure what we will do on her actual bday on Sunday. Probably shop, since I asked her what she wanted for her birthday & she said "I don't know, let's just go shopping & I will see". Yea, last time that happened it ended up costing me a little more than usual! Actually, a lot!! I am glad to just spend the weekend w/my family!

Best wishes to your husband!

We're having my mom over for the 4th. DH plays in the city band, so we'll go watch him at the park, then stay and enjoy the fireworks display when the sun goes down. Got a couple of boxes of pop 'n snaps for DS, but that's the extent of our "blowing stuff up". Here's hoping DS handles the fireworks as well as he did last year! He's still young enough that they may scare him, but old enough to possibly enjoy them. Guess we'll find out tomorrow!

We're spending it with DH's fam and some friends.

Should be accident free for me, I don't shoot off fireworks so unlikely I will catch myself on fire or blow off a finger.

Everyone.......don't forget to watch out for drunk drivers....4th of July is as much of a drinking holiday as New Year's.

Hope your DH is feeling better soon!

Tonight we are taking DS to the Royals game. And we have my giant family picnic on Saturday afternoon. Wave hi if you're driving along K-10; you will probably be able to see us! Then that night we will probably head to a friend's office in Corporate Woods to see some fireworks. I am still SO PO'd at Shawnee Mission and Lenexa for cancelling the usual display!

Hope your hubby is on the mend. You will have to take plenty of pictures for him.

A friend and I are having a girls night out with our tweeny's tonight. We are going to see Legally Blonde at Starlight.

Tomorrow fireworks at a friends--we can see several shows from her patio.

We saw Legally Blonde on Tuesday. The teen girls loved it and DH even liked it.
We are picking up DS at the airport tonight. :D
DD lifeguards today and tomorrow.
Cook out and community fireworks on Saturday night.
DD leaves for freshman orientation on Sunday.

I just want to hang out with the family and take lots of pictures. Not big on fireworks any more but look forward to watching the kids light them. Be safe everyone.
Blessed to have my own 2 pieces of perfection.
